Job Summary
Applies the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to individual patient health information for data retrieval and analysis and claims processing for inpatient and outpatient encounters.
*Remote opportunity but must live in Florida and be available for on-site training (approximately 4-6 weeks depending on experience).
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications
– Require a minimum of three (3) years of work experience as a coder with a portion of the coding experience inpatient focused.
– Require certification by American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) – OR – certification by American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) as a Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC).
