What You’ll Do
The Coding and CDI Supervisor coordinates the daily HB Coding and CDI operations, including all EMR system support and training, work-queue and workload monitoring, account problem solving, system maintenance, customer service support, and review of provider documentation. The Coding and CDI Supervisor supports the Coding Auditor/Educator with internal quality reviews and Compliance audits, providing training to coders and providers based on results, and assists in development of educational material based on latest updates in coding and billing.
Required for this position is:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Acquire CCA, CPC, CCS CCS-P, RHIT or RHIA within 12 months of hire Current Certified Coding
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
- Two (2) years of coding and/or billing experience, knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic and procedure coding required.
- Two (2) years supervisory experience, in a coding and/or billing environment preferred.
The opening is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position.
