Make a Difference at WakeMed as an Integrity Program Auditor – Corporate Integrity & Compliance (Full-Time)

The Integrity Program Auditor is responsible for implementation of the Corporate Compliance Plan. Responsibilities include:
• Ensuring compliance within Compliance policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Identifying areas of risk utilizing regulatory guidance and benchmark tools.
• Assisting in development of action plans for improvement.
• Providing immediate feedback to appropriate parties regarding corrective action.
• Reviewing processes and/or policies and providing recommendations for improvement.

Work Schedule:
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• No weekend requirements
• No call requirements

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Nursing, or Related Field Required

Experience Requirements:
• 4 Years of Experience in Auditing, Compliance, Accounting/Finance or Revenue Cycle and Education or Teaching and Facilitation of Learning and Process Improvement Required
• 5 Years of Related Position Experience Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
• One of the below is required:
o Registered Health Information Administrator
o Registered Health Information Technician
o Certified Coding Specialist/Physician
o Certified Coding Associate
o Certified Professional Coder
o Certified in Healthcare Compliance
o Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner
o Certified Fraud Examiner
o Registered Nurse
