KnowledgeConnex, LLC is a privately held company in Atlanta,
Georgia. The company is focused on providing comprehensive
solutions to professional member associations throughout the
United States.
As an active board member with national, state, and local trade associations, company founder Andrea Koppelmann quickly
realized that time, cost, and geography were some of the major
barriers for both leadership and member involvement. The need
for greater use of technology in overcoming these barriers became
the catalyst for establishing KnowledgeConnex.
Learning services address member training needs that otherwise
are constrained due to time, cost, and geography. The added
efficiencies associated with the introduction of audio seminars/webinars
and on demand education resulted in higher member participation and created
additional non-dues revenue opportunities for various professional
associations.
Andrea is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia where she
earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management.
Additionally, she earned a Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Administration from Mercer University
and a Certificate of Training in Distance Education from the University of West Georgia.
Her various career opportunities in healthcare technology and
education provide the basis for KnowledgeConnex, LLC.
Her leadership and vision have earned her the Medical College of Georgia's Distinguished Alumnus Award,
American Health Information Management Association's Pioneer
Award, Georgia Health Information Management’s Distinguished Member
and Professional Achievement Awards, Missouri Health Information Management's Champion Award, and the Greater Atlanta Health Information Management Outstanding Member as well as Distinguished Service Award.
